Happy Anniversary Phoebe & Guy!

I can’t believe it, but it is already a year since I was in Cornwall to photograph the wedding of Phoebe & Guy at Pentillie Castle. As a Cornishman born & bred I love the opportunity to travel back down to my home county. Cornwall offers so many fantastic wedding venues & Pentillie Castle, which is on the River Tamar offers a photographer some beautiful opportunities for some stylish bride & groom photos.

Congratulations Phoebe & Guy on your first anniversary!

Today’s shoot…

Today I did the pre-wedding shoot for Brendan and Heidi who travelled up from Somerset to see me. Their wedding is next month and will take place in the village where Heidi and I grew up in Cornwall and in fact I got married in the same church last year.

I have not worked on the images yet but had to take a sneaky peek and here are a couple of images I love from the shoot. Their companion is Frosty, a retired Greyhound who still has plenty of energy and was great fun to photography. There are plenty more lovely shots to come so please keep an eye out for them…..

# When a wedding photographer gets married…..

For those of you that are not aware I was the lucky man in front of the camera a month ago as the groom! I married my lovely Rebecca in the village where I grew up in Cornwall. All I can say is it’s a wonderful experience and I am a better man for it and can now empathise with grooms on their wedding day!

Here is one quick photo of the two of us on our special day – those interested in seeing more please click in our Cornish Wedding blog http://www.acornishcoastalwedding.com to see more and possibly see some great ideas for your wedding day too.

…and who took photographs you ask? Tris – the other half of Lord & Leverett of course!!
